John F. McNaughton
John F. McNaughton was born in New York, NY and studied at Hunter College, (1975). A Brazilian resident since 1977, he received his Law degree from the Pontificate Catholic University of São Paulo and post-graduate degree in Commercial law from the University of São Paulo School of Law - USP. Member of the Brazilian Bar Association; also member of the American Bar Association (ABA), Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA), International Bar Association (IBA), Legislative Committees of the American, French and Swiss Chambers of Commerce of São Paulo and the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce of New York. He is a director of the Brazilian Institute of Competition and Consumer Relations Studies - IBRAC. Co-author of "Exporting to the United States of America", "China Pós-OMC: Direito e Comércio" and technical editor of the Portuguese language edition of the World Bank publication "Framework for the Design and Implementation of Competition Law and Policy". Correspondent of the LATIN AMERICAN LAW & BUSINESS and of the INTER-AMERICAN TRADE, with various articles published in magazines and journals specialized in Business Law.

Cely de Arruda Mello McNaughton
Cely de Arruda Mello McNaughton was born in São Paulo, Brazil. A member of the Brazilian Bar Association, São Paulo Section, she obtained her law degree from Mackenzie University School of Law in 1975. Since then she has built a private practice in civil and labor law, both as a litigator and in the consulting field. With a second degree in Philosophy at the University of São Paulo - USP, she is a researcher in Philosophy of Law.
